The series reflects masterfully the reflection on the slow, or sometimes abrupt, way to the degradation of the material. The facades of the buildings in Madrid represents in this case the mirror in which we see the impact of the flow of the inexorable years and the efforts to regain its former glory remainings frozen in scaffolding shown as scenography cases where the tarps are falling like heavy curtains framing a theater where workers sporadically, looming as improvise actors. The result is a serie of poetic images of rare beauty, where the daily routine strikes by their intensity and where the brilliant chromaticism, the different textures and unique deconstructions that are sensed and displayed at random, are evidence of the creative power of the invisible hand of time. Madrid´s scaffolds are shown as inspirational artifacts that marks the end of something valuable, while capable of transcending time and the purpose for which they were erected.
